Your grant payment confirmation may be delayed if you are an approved R350 grant beneficiary for the current month.

The R350 grant still plays a crucial role in the lives of nearly 8 million people through out the country, despite its low amount.

The R350 grant recipients whose applications have been approved are still waiting for their grants this week, even though April is already in its second week.

Reasons Why Your SASSA SRD R350 Grant April 2023 Is Not Showing

According to Sassa, there are currently problems with the website through which payments are processed for the R350 grant.

Additionally, the agency stated they were in the process of resolving the problem so that grants could be processed this month.

There are intermittent problems with the SRD website. We are working with the technical team to resolve these challenges as soon as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

If the website’s glitch cannot be fixed within a few days, it might be useful to look into other possible reasons for the delay. Many grant payments are delayed because some recipients’ accounts are still awaiting verification.

If you provide outdated or incorrect information during your application on the SRD grant website, you may also experience delays.

In case your application has been approved and covers any of these areas, you will receive an SMS confirming your grant availability.

Your R350 grant can then be collected at any of these retail outlets: Pick n Pay, Shoprite Checkers, U-Save or Boxer Store if you applied with a personal bank account.

If you don’t need your grant payment immediately, it will remain in your bank account until you need it. This is also an option you should consider. R350 grants are currently in their third cycle, which is due for disbursement between March 2024 and March 2025.
