Sassa Confirms Glitch Preventing Beneficiaries From Accessing Nov Grants Fixed

Sassa (South African Social Security Agency) said on Tuesday that the glitch at Postbank that prevented people from receiving their November grants had been resolved.

Payment disruptions have been caused by Sassa’s unstable system since 3 November.During this period, people will be refunded for declined transactions.

It apologized to its beneficiaries for this inconvenience caused.

According to Sassa’s Paseka Letsatsi, beneficiaries could access money from a variety of places, including ATMs and retailers and Approximately 96% of grants were withdrawn, according to Sassa.

According to the agency, the gold card had not expired and was still valid.
