Minimum Requirements
Candidates should hold a relevant Degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6/7) recognized by SAQA, as well as 3-5 years’ experience in the relevant field; a comprehensive understanding of SASSA’s Constitution, policies and legislation in Public Management; and an understanding of poverty alleviation and social security. In addition to having a computer, you must also have a valid driver’s license.
Managing and administering disability management within the region as well as coordinating it within district and local offices is the responsibility of the incumbent; Managing and administering Service Level Agreements with Medical Service Providers; Monitoring the implementation of disability processes throughout the Region; Training and development; Providing advice on disability-related legislation, policies, and procedures; overseeing the Unit on a day-to-day basis.

Minimum Requirements:
The candidate must have a Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) and be computer literate. A key part of the position will be assisting in the administration of Social Grants at the local office level, screening all grant applications, capturing applications on the system, providing Customer Service, processing Customer Care, processing other grant documentation / performing other grants administration functions, controlling grant applications, and ensuring compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, and Part 3.

Minimum Requirements:
The candidate should possess a three-year relevant National Diploma/B Degree (NQF Level 6/7), along with three to five years of supervisory experience in Grants Administration in a relevant field. Knowledge of SOCPEN and MIS, SASSA’s constitutional mandate and relevant policies and legislation in public management, as well as in social security and poverty alleviation; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are prerequisites.
