Good News AS NSFAS Pays TVET Colleges Students Their Allowances

Students attending public higher learning institutions can apply for NSFAS bursaries. All funded students of the current academic year have good news this week thanks to the bursary scheme for TVET colleges.

Good News AS NSFAS Pays TVET Colleges Students Their Allowances

All Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges in the country have received payments from the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).

Earlier this month, NSFAS announced that all TVET colleges had submitted registration information and that payments were being made to the institutions.

“The National Student Financial Assistance System (NSFAS) has already made payments to TVET Colleges in response to information they submitted regarding student registration data. NSFAS will continue to do so as information is received.”

Upon receiving their registration information, students in this cohort will start receiving their allowance by Friday. On the scheme’s website, students should ensure that they have registered for an NSFAS Bank Account.

NSFAS should receive allowances for all TVET students who have registered by 10 March 2023.

Many students who rely on NSFAS for financial assistance will be relieved by the successful payment of funds to TVET colleges.

In order to assist students who cannot afford their tertiary education, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme provides government funding assistance.

Bursary representatives have also encouraged students with questions about funding to contact them or contact NSFAS directly on their official Twitter account. It is recommended that students include their ID number when contacting the university.
